Daniel Murley
DANIEL MURLEY, son of Cornelius Murley and Austas his wife, was possibly born around
1720, I believe in SE Pennsylvania and died between March and August 22, 1781 in
Greenbrier County, Virginia now West Virginia. He married 1) to a woman named
JUDITH who probably died or disappeared in 1755 in Virginia 2) MARGARET possibly
born around 1750 and died after 1800. After Daniel died, Margaret married 9 August 1782 in
Greenbriar Co to William Sconce. After Margaret died, William Sconce married Elizabeth
Calhoun.
Issue of DANIEL MURLEY and JUDITH:
CATHERINE MURLEY, born 1746, probably in Augusta County, Virginia. In 1761 she chose
Uriah Humble to be her guardian. Nothing more is known of her.
Issue of DANIEL MURLEY and MARGARET:
CHARITY MURLEY married William Arthur 23 August 1795 in Bourbon County, Kentucky.
NANCY MURLEY married John Brown on October 17, 1799 in Harrison County, Kentucky.
MARY MURLEY married Richard Taylor on February 17, 1800 in Harrison County, Kentucky.
WILLIAM MURLEY born 1776 in Greenbriar County and died 19 April 1839 in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
He married 1) 22 June 1800 in Cumberland Co, to Mary Cane/Care 2) 9 March in
Cumberland Co to 1809 Jane Green.
DANIEL MURLEY born 28 February 1778 in Greenbriar County and died January 1860 in
Macon County, Missouri. He married about 1804 to Margaret "Peggy" Moore, daughter of
James Moore, probably in Harrison or Pendleton County, Kentucky.
