(Myroxylon balsamum var, balsamum)
Used as a fixative in cosmetics and perfumes, it is actually best for the treatment of exzema, cracked nipples, lips, cuts, bedsores, scabies, rashes and as an inhalent by putting about a teaspoon into a steam bath. Tolu balsam is a resin.
