"During the winter of 1997 & 98, I found myself subjected to a great deal of stress resulting from my business and a serious illness in my family. It resulted in a great amount of colon disorder,(constipation, indigestion, heartburn, even bouts of nausea) It developed into severe pain and rectal bleeding. In January 1998 my sister, Carolyn, 4 years my Junior passed away from Cancer. I remember at the viewing for her funeral, I was in such pain that I can scarce remember talking to friends and family as they came to express their condolences.
As the year passed, the condition steadily became worse, I tried every homeopathic remedy and all the-over-the counter medicines that were available to me. Nothing worked. As time passed I was becoming quite depressed. By fall I was down to only being able to work 3 or 4 days per week, the remainder of the time I was in bed taking pain killers. By late winter of 1998 & 1999 my condition had deteriorated to a point that I made a appointment with a proctologist, a Dr. Butt (seriously) in Houston. I went to his big fancy office in Houston. I spent about an hour looking at his trophies from his African Safari's and pictures of his home and more trophies. Finally I was brought into an examination room. One look and I was informed that I had a major case of hemorrhiods plus an anal fissure and the only solution was a $7,000 operation, and that might or might not solve the problem. I informed him that I did not have that much money nor did I have insurance, he promptly told me goodbye. When I walked out of that office that morning was probably one of the lowest times in my life. I was so depressed that I simply did not know how I would go on and be able to function. My partner, Kerry suggested that I try a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, which I did. I must say, I got only a small amount of relief from the medication that he administered. By now, I was beginning to concern my self that I would develop cancer from the condition that was wracking my body.
In late February of 1999, I attended an Aromatherapy Convention in Scottsdale, AZ. Our table was next to the table of a Doctor (originally from India), I came to know him as Dr. Raj. Sometime during the day I saw one of his brochures, mentioning that many colon and rectal disorders are linked to fiber deficiency in diet, and that correcting this deficiency can help fix many problems. This immediately got my attention. I promptly spoke with him regarding my problem. He listened and immediately gave a small jar, (about a pint) of a light brown powder, with a faint maple syrup herbaceous odor, called Fenuber. He told me to start immediately, to just sprinkle it on my food, using about a half teaspoon twice daily for a couple of weeks then upping the dosage to a teaspoon twice daily. Within 2 weeks I knew it was working. within a month I was able to return pretty much to my duties. By the Spring of 2000 I was back hiking in the Rockies and doing pretty much whatever I wished. I am now able to eat about anything I want, I digest my food well, I have a minimum of indigestion (far less than I have ever experienced). What is FENUBER® ?
Fenuber® is FENUgreek + fiBER. It is the de-bitterized, Fat and Oil-free powder of the fenugreek seed, rich in fenugreek protein, and fibers. Fenuber® gives maximum amount of dietary fiber without adding calories. Fenuber® gives a mixture of soluble and insoluble fibers. FENUBER® reduces Bad Cholesterol
High cholesterol and blood sugar are common in diabetes. A diet containing 25 g of the Fenuber® powder (= about 12-13 g fiber) per day given to 60 individuals with diabetes type-2 and high triglycerides and VLDL and LDL cholesterol resulted in significant lowering in 4 weeks, which improved in 8 weeks and beyond. The 'good' cholesterol HDL did not change. Similar effects were observed in Type 1 diabetes.
